AN EVENT THAT HAS STARTED WELL

WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE SEPTEMBER 2015
AN EVENT THAT HAS STARTED WELL!

With more than 85% of exhibiting brands confirmed 10 weeks before the trade shows, WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE are extending their capability to rally the brands and the buyers by the time of their next event.

Out of over 10,000 retailers and exhibitors regularly in contact with the WSN Développement teams, 80/90% have already confirmed their intention of attending the shows in September. The rigorous exhibitor selection process remains the trademark of the organisers. In fact out of 800 applications from new brands only 250 have been chosen to make their trade show debut; 80% of which are international brands, whilst 20% are French.

The decision to return to the September dates was warmly welcomed by all:

A better a clearer understanding of accounts after the summer sales, additional time to complete collections allowing brands to present an entire collection at the trade shows, easier organisation outside of the school holidays, freer timetable outside of religious holidays, (this is especially important to visitors from the Middle East), more practical for visitors to Maison & Objet trade show, these are the key positive responses received from brands and visitors.

With a population made up of around 65% French visitors and a confirmed European dynamic, in particular from France’s neighbouring countries (Italy, Belgium, Spain), WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE maintain their place as European leader in terms of the offer of their trade shows.

Outside of Europe, the date change has had little to no impact, in particularly amongst visitors from Asian countries still motivated by finding new brands each season.

The trade show is still recognised by the brands as an essential industry tool. Among the 1700 brands at the event, around 20% made their debut and therefore confirmed WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE’s role as discoverer of new things and platform of innovation.
