THE FUTURE OF FASHION PROGRAM

Discover the young designers who have been selected
for the second edition of the competition
Following the phenomenal success of the last edition, WHO’S NEXT & PREMIERE CLASSE are proud to once again present The Future of Fashion Program curated by the leading online platform for young designers worldwide, NOT JUST A LABEL (NJAL).



For this new edition, over 10 women’s ready-to-wear designers and 10 accessory designers (mixed: jewellery, shoes, leather goods, textile accessories) have been selected amongst 18,000 talents worldwide from NOT JUST A LABEL‘s international portfolio, as well as 10 mixt ready-to-wear designers. These 30 designers will exhibit on 3 shared stands, in 3 different areas.
WOMEN’S READY TO WEAR: collections exhibited on a shared stand in the FAME area of WHO’S NEXT trade show (stand C11 – hall 1)

MIXT READY TO WEAR: collections exhibited on a shared stand in the URBAN area of WHO’S NEXT trade show (stand M20 – hall 3)

ACCESSORIES : collection exhibited on a shared stand in the PREMIERE CLASSE trade show (stand G131 – hall 1)

HOW IT WORKS

It will take place in 3 stages:

Trade shows in September 2015

The 30 selected contestants showcase their Spring/Summer 2016 collections in Paris from 4th to 7th September 2015. It is during the trade shows that 15 designers are chosen to proceed to the next stage.



Trade shows in January 2016

The 15 designers (5 women’s ready-to-wear, 5 accessory and 5 mixt ready-to-wear) present their Autumn/Winter 2016-17 collections. 12 designers are eliminated at the January 2016 trade shows.



Trade shows of September 2016

3 finalists (1 women’s ready-to-wear, 1 accessory and 1 mixt ready-to-wear) will be invited to participate for a third time at the trade shows, presenting their Spring/Summer 2017 collections.
At each stage of the competition, sessions of individual interviews will be held by mentors to select which designers will go on to the next stage.
