The epitome of Indo-Western style, this brand beautifully manifests the richness and opulence of Indian tradition teamed with contemporary style. The duo sell their products at some of the best multi-designer outlets in the country and have made the brand’s presence known across the world in countries like Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Cannes, Dubai, Greece, Hong Kong and Jakarta. Having dressed Bollywood stars like Amesha Patel and Raveena Tandon, the designers proved their universal appeal early on in their careers.

The label Vrisa uses age old Indian craft and textile design while enhancing a myriad of cuts patterns, hand embroideries, stitching and detailing. Playing with basic colour palettes, each item is hand-made and crafted by the label’s artisan designers for a totally unique finish.

In 2007, Pallavi launched her private label “NOT SO SERIOUS”, a brand that endeavors to amalgamate Western sensibilities with Indian ethos. The brand’s retail footprints have spread out over the years and in India, NOT SO SERIOUS is sold at leading boutiques such as Carma, Ensemble, Aza, Ogaan, Fuel, Mogra and Kimaya.

Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna is a well known Indian brand whose founders are now entering into their nineteenth year of creative partnership as an established designer brand. The duo have made their mark in contemporary clothing for men and women and their designs are renowned for their attention to silhouette and detailing.

Founded on the vision of four designers from NIFT Mumbai, MadSamTinZin began its creative journey in early 2012. With a penchant for innovative embroidery and flattering silhouettes, the brand attempts to fill the niche that exists for intuitive design, executing garments with unparalleled craftsmanship.

Young & Stylish, Indian based designer Nandita Mahtani created a niche for herself in the fashion industry with the launch of her label Ananya in 2000, followed by her signature label- NANDITA MAHTANI. Glamour and sophistication being the focal point of her resort collection, Nandita Mahtani‘s designs are meant to appeal to women of all ages.

The victory of Eka Clothing at ELLE India Graduates, rewarding the emerging Indian designers, seems as natural as the approach of her founder Rina Singh. Daughter of northern farmers, she has decided to enhance the knowledge of traditional crafts of the countryside. The cuts of her designs are fluid and modern, but the materials are worked on ancestral wooden looms. Beyond the appeal of her collections it is the authenticity of Eka Clothing that seduced the jury.
