ART OF CROCHET – JANUARY 2016

For the January 2016 edition, the WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE trade shows focused on “handmade” products by revisiting the art of crochet. This exercise in style drew attention to several designers who created exclusive crochet and knitwear pieces.

«CHOUETTEDINER» EXHIBITION

Discover a new exhibition in the VIP lounge area located in Hall 3, where the artists Ketty Sean and Phil Ferguson showcased a crochet masterpiece representing a mythological scene of an owls’ dinner.

Ketty Sean, Parisian artist, was the perfect choice for creative director of the #chouettediner exhibition: for over 10 years, she’s been creating 3D figures in crocheted yarn, wood and clay. World-renowned, she knits a slightly chaotic vision of the world while collaborating with big names like Harvey Nichols in London, AMP in Hong Kong or Publicis Drugstore in Paris to create exclusive crocheted wool pieces.

This exhibition was also available at the Joyce Gallery (Paris – Palais Royal) where the pieces were available to the general public from 20th January to 17th February 2016.
