More than 20 years after its creation, Who's Next has become the leading international fashion trade show for womenswear in Europe. In January and September, the event welcomes 50,000 visitors through its doors at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris, with around 600 French and international ready-to-wear brands there for them to discover.
Who's Next takes place in conjunction with Premiere Classe, the leading accessories trade show.
Brands, buyers, journalists and trendsetters hailing from over 100 different countries come together to discover and set each season’s trends during 4 days of meetings, activities and parties.
Following a number of interviews with exhibitors and buyers, the trade show is ending the division of the ready-to-wear programme in Hall 4 and re-energising the buyer’s course through the trade show. The names Private-Studio-Trendy-Urban are disappearing from the January 2018 edition to make room for a brand-friendly environment, but without divisions.
The general theme of Who’s Next and Premiere Classe - Jazz and Sape Culture - will be presented in Hall 4 through the different musical trends within jazz. Strong, radical symbols of expression: Classic Jazz, Piano Bar, Bossa Nova, Lindy Hop and Street Jazz.
Jazz and Sape Culture, complementary disciplines, emphasise individuality, activism, artistic qualities and profound expertise. The parallels with fashion are completely natural.
The layout of Hall 4 will thus consist of five highlights on products and styles. This will be done via the grouping of brands, and through the artistic expression of Amah Ayivi from the agency "Art Comes First".
An activity space dedicated to fashion/lifestyle communities during the day, and to partying at night, will function as a display of young creativity, culture, art, and music. This space, like the rest of the trade show, is conceived to provide unique moments of sharing, inspiration and emotion to buyers, all visitors, and exhibitors.
Every edition, Who’s Next trade show organises a full programme packed with events.
More than just a trade show, Who’s Next is also an invaluable source of trend information,
thanks to its many exhibitions and conferences.
