What is #TheFutureOfFashion Program?

WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE launched in September 2016 their 3rd edition of their historical collaboration with the world’s leading online designer platform NOT JUST A LABEL to present The Future of Fashion Program, a stepping stone for 30 emerging designers to grow internationally.

The launch of the 3rd edition in September 2016 enabled 30 young designers to exhibit their collections to international buyers at the Porte de Versailles. They were presented in the accessory-led PREMIERE CLASSE show and within WHO’S NEXT in the women’s ready-to-wear FAME area and unisex ready-to-wear URBAN area.

Furthermore the launch cocktail event witnessed meetings between the young designers, fashion journalists, VIP buyers and the jury in charge of the selection of the 15 talents who have the opportunity to proceed to the 2nd stage of the programme.​

ARETHE STOCKHOLM – Sweden – since 2013 – Womenswear

Alina Bendikova was raised in Sweden. She has been influenced by the minimalist and androgynous ways of dressing. Her Russian roots are reflected in her design aesthetics.

 

The women's collections are defined by the use of exclusive materials balanced by refined pieces to be worn day and night.

The collections are designed to fit each figure and she is always seeking for new fabrics from all over the world.

The essence of Bruno Nowi resides in its stylish, comfortable and timeless collection.

Bruno Nowi has developed 4 collections so far.

This brand was founded by two sisters:  Fashion designer Kasia Skorzynska and sociologist Julia Skorzynska, both raised in Brazil, country which strongly influenced their taste and sense of aesthetics.

They are a perfect combination due to their versatile skills which create a multidisciplinary approach to fashion.

Vivid prints, an unobvious colour combination and geometrical forms characterise Kaaskas.

Designer David Catalan finds inspiration from modern culture to create a sporty silhouette combined with superposition of the material's layers. David is always looking for new techniques to improve the materials used in his pieces.

Designer Malin Busck spent ten years owning a sustainable shop in Sweden but decided to go on a new venture in Ghana leading her to have all designs made in Africa.

Every piece is made exclusively and tailored upon request to be customised.

Hi On Life can be defined as street couture mixed with Scandinavian clean cuts and African bold prints.

After graduating from London Fashion College, Yushan Li and Jun Zhou partnered to create their own menswear label.

With a global vision on contemporary menswear, the designer explore how to “Pronounce” menswear in their own way using hand-painted details, used canvas and unconventional textiles.

Pronounce has developed 2 collections so far.
